Japanese Vocabulary Quiz
This week’s quiz contains twenty-six words that all beginning Japanese language learners should know. Match each Japanese word on the left with its English equivalent on the right. We’ve included romanizations for each of the Japanese words in case you need them. However, we recommend looking at the romanizations only if you’re stumped by the original characters. Keep in mind that words may be written in Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji, or a combination thereof.
Check the answer key at the bottom of the quiz to see how well you did. If you’re struggling with vocabulary or any other facet of the Japanese language, contact the Language Island in Atlanta. Our highly-qualified teachers offer classes that are custom-tailored to your individual needs.
